Firstly, Wayne, a friend since school, is opening an Open Mic night in South Shields, called 'I Don't Get It'.  I'm giving him a hand, so anybody looking for bookings get in touch.  I'm really looking forward to it.

Bath Comedy Festival coming up, was worried about it - an hour is a lot of time, but after writing with the comedian Andrew Arrowsmith and the writer Chris Hately, I'm feeling good about it.  Ideas are really flowing, some of them are funny.

Accepted into the Hilarity Bites new act competition, just waiting for confirmation on the date.  Never done one of these before, so have no idea of my chances.  I am, as ever, stuck somewhere between arrogance and doom.

I did a podcast with the musician/bank manager Harvey Mason Jr. and the layabout/tab enthusiast Louis Forster.  No idea when it'll come out, mainly because heavy editing is needed on some of the things I said.

Oh, and it looks like I'm heading to the Edinburgh Festival this year, courtesy of the Free Fringe.  More details when they are confirmed, but...I'm already sort of shitting myself.
